The Anambra State Police Command has received a fresh deployment of over 70 newly passed-out constables from the Police Training College, Oji River, Enugu State. This strategic move is part of the Inspector-General of Police’s efforts to strengthen manpower capacity and enhance community policing across the country.
According to the Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, the new officers will be deployed strategically across divisions and formations to improve visibility policing, intelligence gathering, and prompt response to security situations.
The deployment is expected to boost security in Anambra State, where the police command has been working tirelessly to tackle violent crimes and restore peace.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, has assured the public that the new officers will be working to enhance security and protect lives and property in the state.
