As the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco draws near, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced a 54-man provisional squad, showcasing Nigeria’s depth and ambition. The goalkeeping department is led by Stanley Nwabali and Maduka Okoye, both of whom have enjoyed strong form at club level. They are joined by new challengers hoping to impress during camp. The team is expected to play friendly matches in Egypt before heading to Morocco for the tournament, which kicks off on December 21. Nigeria is in Group C, alongside Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda.
