A harrowing tale of survival and tragedy has emerged from the Kebbi abduction, as the wife of a Vice Principal recounted the brutal murder of her husband and her daughter’s miraculous escape.
In a Facebook video post, the bereaved wife described how armed bandits stormed their home, initially mistaken for stray animals. A struggle ensued, and one of the assailants fatally shot her husband. The bandits then dragged her out of the house, but her daughter’s emergence led to a deadly shift in focus.
The gunmen seized the girl, forcing her towards the school hostel, and in a horrifying moment, they commanded her to lie down, intending to execute her.
However, the girl employed extraordinary presence of mind, calmly asking to ease herself. The bandits momentarily conceded, opening a door that proved to be a turning point. As they became distracted, the girl slipped away unnoticed, hiding in the dark surrounding bush.
The Vice Principal’s wife’s testimony highlights the tragedy and her daughter’s miraculous escape, leaving the community in shock.
