The long-awaited day, November 24th, 2025, has come and gone, leaving behind a trail of success and praise. The first phase of our Vision 2035: Crime-Free Society initiative has been successfully implemented, marked by impactful activities and a remarkable turnout.
The event showcased the talents of vocational students from our training centre, with 150 students in attendance, despite ongoing examinations. The students received forms to indicate their preferred vocational areas, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their empowerment journey.
A distinguished delegation of women leaders and dignitaries graced the occasion, including:
- Amb. Dr. Vivien Nnonyelum Njemanze, Deputy Clerk of the House of Representatives
- Amb. Dr. Nanre Emege, Pioneer Mother of PATDI and Representative of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs
- Representatives of the Corps Marshal
- Representatives of SEB
- Representatives of the NAPTIP Director-General
- Representatives of UBEB
- Representatives of Senator Ireti Kingibe
- PATDI Advisor
The event culminated in joyful celebration and dancing, particularly among the children, as we launched the inspiring theme song, “Crime-Free Society We Must Get It,” composed by Amb. Princess Anita Umeweni. We also unveiled five newly published books, which were enthusiastically received by stakeholders, who pledged their support towards mass production to further the vision.
In her speech, Amb. Princess Anita Umeweni expressed profound gratitude to all who have supported the vision. A one-minute silence was observed in honour of Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, our pioneer grand patron, and High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, PATDI grand patron, whose legacies continue to inspire us.
The day ended in thanksgiving, success, and renewed commitment to building a crime-free society. We are grateful to all who contributed to this milestone and look forward to continued support as we move forward.
