Paris – Paris Saint-Germain forward Ferran Torres has identified the three clubs he believes will push PSG hardest in the race for this season’s Champions League title.
According to Torres, the main challengers will be Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
PSG are the defending champions, having beaten Arsenal earlier this year to secure back-to-back European crowns.
Torres, who netted a hat-trick in Wednesday’s win over Slovan Bratislava, admits retaining the trophy will be a difficult task.
“Real Madrid are contenders, Bayern Munich are contenders, and we are too. It’s going to be a big battle,” the Spain international said.
PSG kicked off their title defense with the victory over Slovan, with Torres leading the line and scoring three.
The Champions League league phase continues next month as Luis Enrique’s side look to become the first team to win three straight titles since Real Madrid’s run from 2016 to 2018.
