Istanbul, 2026 – Ademola Lookman has responded to Victor Osimhen’s push for him to join Galatasaray, as the Turkish champions line up a move for the Atalanta forward.

Galatasaray are preparing to defend the Süper Lig crown they won in the 2025–2026 season. The Istanbul side wrapped up a record 26th league title and a fourth straight championship with a first-place finish.

Sources say Osimhen has been lobbying his Super Eagles teammate to choose Galatasaray over other suitors. The striker is reportedly urging Lookman to make the switch to the Rams Park.

Lookman, who remains under contract with Atalanta until 2030, is believed to have told Galatasaray’s hierarchy one thing: get a deal done with his Italian club if they want him.

Atalanta value the Nigeria winger highly after his Europa League heroics and consistent Serie A form, so any transfer would require a big fee and agreement between the clubs.
