The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Chapter, has congratulated the founder and Senior Presiding Pastor of Jesus Praise Evangelical Ministry International, Abuja, Dr. Femi Lanre-Oke, on the church’s tenth anniversary and eighth convention.
The church is marking the dual celebration with its convention tagged HEBRON 2026.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Felix Ojo, the Chapel said the celebration signifies ten years of faithful service, teamwork and commitment to God and humanity.
The Union commended the ministry for its societal impact in the last decade, citing its various arms and initiatives including mission centres, His Praise Publishing and Bookshop, scholarships, FLO Leadership Academy, FLO Marriage Seminar, FLO Mentorship Programme, Davidstone School of Ministry, Still Waters Foundation, social empowerment programmes, business grants, Staystrong conferences, TED Woman Initiatives, conventions and counselling and mentorship platforms.
According to the Chapel, the ministry’s resilience has transformed what started as a family fellowship into a global outreach that has impacted many lives and raised a new generation of leaders.
It noted that the church has contributed to building moral values, reshaping character and equipping young leaders to take responsibility in families, ministries, workplaces and the larger society.
The Chapel said it identifies with the ministry’s vision of a church that exists for the people and cares for the oppressed, discouraged, overlooked, rejected and disenfranchised.
It also appreciated Dr. Lanre-Oke and the ministry for their cooperation and support for journalists over the years, expressing hope for deeper partnership in service to the people.
The Union wished the ministry many more years of impactful service and sustained commitment to its calling.
