The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing workplace safety and social security for businesses across the region.
Speaking at the launch of the Free MSMEs AI Master Training Programme, NSITF Managing Director Faleye said the Fund will support the initiative through stronger partnerships, increased awareness, and improved service delivery.
Faleye lauded the ECOWAS Small Business Coalition (ESBC), InnoPower LLC, and UNDP for bringing together government, private sector players, and development partners to equip entrepreneurs with digital-age skills and resources.
He urged participants to embrace continuous learning and bold innovation, but stressed that people remain the core of any successful business.
โYour greatest asset will always be your people. Protect them. Invest in them,โ he said.
โOn behalf of the Management and staff of NSITF, I congratulate all partners whose vision made this initiative possible,โ Faleye added. โThe enterprises that will shape Africaโs future wonโt just be those that adopt new technology. They will be those that combine innovation with responsibility, and ambition with resilience.โ
The event drew top dignitaries including the ECOWAS Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Agriculture, the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, representatives of UNDP Nigeria and the UNDP Regional Office for West and Central Africa, and Dr. Abdulrashid Yerima, Regional President of the ECOWAS Small Business Coalition. Representatives of InnoPower LLC from the USA were also in attendance.
The Free MSMEs AI Master Training Programme will be rolled out in selected ECOWAS countries. It is designed to help business owners use Artificial Intelligence to improve production, marketing, and regional trade.
