Egypt captain Mohamed Salah has become the highest-earning player in the Turkish Super Lig following his switch to Trabzonspor.

Data from Capology shows the 34-year-old former Liverpool winger now pockets £342,500 per week on his new two-year deal.

With the move, Salah overtakes Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen, who previously held the top spot on the league’s salary list. Osimhen currently earns £307,795 weekly.

Fenerbahce midfielder N’Golo Kante sits third on the table with £225,716 per week, level with goalkeeper Ederson.
